Regional Youth Orchestra NSW 2016

Regional Youth Orchestra NSW (RYO) is an audition-based youth orchestra for talented students from NSW Regional Conservatoriums, providing opportunities to play with other regional youth musicians and learn from leading conductors, orchestras and artists from Australia and the world in a range of projects in 2016.

RYO’s projects this year will include:

  • Australian Opera and Ballet Orchestra Project: July
  • Australian World Orchestra Project: September
  • Regional Youth Orchestra Artlands Project: October

Students applying must be:

  • aged from 11 years to 18 years on 1 January 2016
  • currently enrolled as an orchestral instrumental student at a NSW Regional Conservatorium
  • at minimum AMEB Grade 5 skill level or equivalent on their orchestral instrument(s)
