Kathryn Crossing is a young, positive and enthusiastic teacher.
She has a Bachelor of Music majoring in music education from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. During her degree, Kathryn studied with one of Australia's leading violin teachers, Alex Todicescu.
Kathryn is an experienced performer, touring Italy and Russia with the SBS Youth Orchestra and Indonesia and Europe as a tutor with Bluescope Steel Youth Orchestra. She led the Mosman Orchestra for a number of years, and was a soloist on many occasions. She also has her AmusA and Associate in Performance from Trinity College, London.
She has been a violin teacher at Wollongong Conservatorium of Music for three years. She conducts the Junior Orchestra and tutors the Concert and Bluescope Steel Youth Orchestras.
Currently, Kathryn is touring with a classical-pop electric string group called Maske, which has given her the opportunity to travel and play exciting new repertoire.
