Classes in Music Theory and Aural Musicianship are available for students of all ages and all stages of Music Education. Instruction is provided in class groups or on an individual basis. It is recommended that students begin theory classes once they have reached AMEB 3rd Grade or equivalent in their practical studies. Students can study for AMEB theory exams or as an HSC extension activity. Composition classes / support can also be arranged.

The Music Theory / Aural Musicianship class program is now included for free as part of the ensemble program at the Conservatorium.
