The Con Concert Series is a series of 4 concerts, held at Wollongong Town Hall showcasing the very best of what the Con's ensemble program has to offer.
Concert #1 - Friday March 30 at 7pm Jazz Showcase featuring James Morrison and the Megaband

Join international jazz superstar James Morrison as he performs with both the Megaband and the Conservatorium Jazz Orchestra. This concert will be the farewell to the Jazz Orchestra before they leave for a tour of Los Angeles, San Francisco and Reno.
Concert #2 - Saturday June 9 at 7pm 40th Anniversary Concert

Happy birthday to us! 2012 sees the 40th birthday of the Wollongong Conservatorium of Music and what better way to celebrate than with a concert, featuring the BlueScope Steel Youth Orchestra, Conservatorium Wind Ensemble and Conservatorium Jazz Orchestra.
Concert # 3 - Saturday September 8 at 7pm Orchestral Showcase

Our orchestral showcase will feature the BlueScope Steel Youth Orchestra in an afternoon Concert for Kids aimed at pre-school and primary school children followed by a spectacular evening concert designed for both children and adults alike. Come and learn about what makes an orchestra work during the afternoon and then see it all come together in the evening performance.
# 4 - Saturday December 1 from 10am Christmas Spectacular - Open Day & Christmas Concert

Come and join in the fun of the Con's annual Open Day at Wollongong Town Hall, featuring a full day of free, live music, from solos to orchestras, choirs to bands. Then come and enjoy the perfect start to the festive season with our Christmas Spectacular, featuring the BlueScope Steel Youth Orchestra, Conservatorium Wind Ensemble and Conservatorium Jazz Orchestra.
