The next jazz concert at the Conservatorium features the German group Liaison Tonique, led by pianist Laia Genc. The group is in Australia to perform at Australia’s leading jazz festival in Wangaratta, and will include Wollongong in a national tour.
The repertoire of this trio is composed and arranged by the Cologne-based pianist Laia Genc. The material includes modern lyrical piano trio sounds, impulsivly grooving songs and freely improvised sections.
