Teacher of Violin - Full-time Temporary Contract.

Wollongong Conservatorium of Music requires a well qualified and experienced teacher of violin to cover the absence of a teacher on an overseas tour during Term 4 2010.

This contract will start on Oct 12 and run until Dec 18. You will be required to work Tuesday-Saturday, taking over an existing timetable which includes individual violin tuition, ensemble rehearsals (as both tutor and conductor) and a limited amount of work in local schools.

Hours of work vary from day to day, but are generally 3pm-8pm during the week and 8.30am-4pm on Saturday. You will be required to teach 9 of the 10 weeks during the contract (to allow some flexibility for existing commitments), but will be paid for all 10 weeks. The salary for this position is $1,250 per week plus 9% superannuation.
